How safe is Sydney Carpool?

The safety of our customers is of prime importance.

For example as a passenger you can select the driver's age, type of car, sex, likes and dislikes, music, religion, movie, etc.
These details are not mandatory but they are there to enhance their rating on the system each driver will be required to add as much detail as possible.

Our rating system allows each passenger to rate their drivers and this rating system in effect governs who is deemed acceptable to the system and who is not.

Together with our rating system and the passengers own questioning during the initial contact phase we believe that Sydney Car Pool is a safe environment to share information and rides.

• Before getting into any vehicle check the identity of the driver.
• Are there any other passengers?
• Is it the same person you contacted?
• Does the number plate match those given to you?
• Did you check the driver's licence?
• Do you feel comfortable?

Carpool Etiquette

• No smoking, unless the driver agrees
• No drinking, swearing, loud or obnoxious behaviour
• If you feel that you have been let down, contact us by email
• If there has been a serious breach contact us via Carpool TXT (SMS) on +61 414618157.

Don't forget the driver has the option not to take the passenger for any reason and the passenger can refuse a driver for any reason.
